It's been a busy month of updates this month, both on and beneath the surface. Frequent visitors will already be aware of the new level of map integration that was launched a couple of weeks ago, along with a complete overhaul of the code behind the search system that makes it easier for us to extend. But that's not where it stopped.

We also now have an entirely new submission process. The hope is that this will make it easier for visitors to the site to submit new hotspots, help us eliminate some of the duplicate submissions we've been receiving, and help with gathering more data (like opening times). Like the new search system, this new submission system has been written with the future in mind, so as the site grows it should keep pace more easily than the old one was able to.

There are a whole variety of other updates scattered around the site, including cleaner URLs for all the location pages and news stories, but the other key change to draw attention to is the inclusion (finally) of opening times on hotspot pages. We have been gathering this data for a few months now so it was time to open it up. If we don't have them for any location you visit, please do let us know.
